AI Agent Onboarding Process

Last updated: April 3, 2026

While we want to assist and guide you to become successful with AI Agents, the onus is on you to drive progress forward. The structure on a deployment is an initial kickoff call to align on project goals and then weekly working sessions, lasting around 4 weeks. While working with your dedicated FDE, you'll be expected to complete homework. There are 2 mains tasks:

  • Providing feedback on the AI Agent - this includes reviewing the answers that the AI Agent (whether internal or external) is providing, and ranking them.

  • Creating/Updating Knowledge Base articles - since the Agent's performance is directly correlated with the accuracy and coverage of the KB, improving KB articles is crucial.

Each week, we see that customers who are consistently logging feedback (10+ issues) and updating or creating articles (2+) each week see the most success. Your FDE will review the logged feedback and discuss this with you during the working sessions.

Defining Success

The success of AI Agents looks different for everybody, as well as is very dependent on your business, your processes, and your appetite for AI. Ways our customers have tracked success include:

  • Improving assignment rate & response rate on the Agent

  • Estimated savings due to reduced support costs

  • Improved Knowledge Base resources

  • Agent NPS or CSAT scores

Because improving your agent is an ongoing task, defining what success means for your company is crucial.
