How do I integrate Grain with Pylon?
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Make sure you are a Grain administrator before going through the app install process.
Go to the Apps Directory page
Click on the Grain app and hit Connect.
Complete the instructions and make sure to create a workspace API token

Once you add your API key into Pylon, your old Grain calls will begin to backfill into Pylon. Your new calls will also automatically be added to Pylon.
Historical Call Backfill
Grain supports backfilling historical calls into Pylon via their API. When you connect your Grain workspace API token, Pylon will automatically backfill your existing Grain call recordings. New calls will also continue to be ingested automatically going forward.
Note: To protect participant privacy, on the call list in the Grain integration page in Pylon, you will only be able to see calls which you were a participant in. Calls from other members of your team in Grain will still be pulled in and attributed to the correct Pylon account.
Best practice: for complete call data, ensure your Team access settings in Grain are set to 'All meetings with external participants'
